Sales Coordinator

What's the opportunity?

Our mission is to get our customers what they need, when they need it. It all starts with our Sales team – they are responsible for understanding our customers’ needs, and communicating them throughout KOTT to make sure we can deliver on our promise. We are looking for an organized and computer-savvy team player to join our Ottawa Sales team as a Sales Coordinator.

In this role, you are ‘mission control’ for processing information about our large customer contracts. You ensure that the latest available updates are captured in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, so that we build and ship customer orders on time, in full.

There will be the opportunity to work from home up to 4 days/week once you are trained and established in this role.

Your day-to-day

  • – Monitor customer portals and other information sources for updates on projects under contract
  • – Ensure that all updates about project specs and required dates are entered in our ERP system accurately and completely
  • – Set up new customers, new jobs and new contracts in our ERP system as needed
  • – Ensure customer contract pricing and special billings are kept up to date in our ERP system
  • – Verify incoming customer Purchase Orders against contract prices
  • – Other sales coordination duties as required

What you need to succeed:

Experience & Education

  • – At least one year of administrative or coordination experience is strongly preferred
  • – Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
  • – Experience working in enterprise resource planning systems or customer databases is an asset

  • – Computer literacy required
  • – Proficiency in MS Excel required
  • – Quality and detail oriented
