You value working in a safe workplace as much as we take pride in providing one. We are looking for full-time Truss Assemblers to fill existing vacancies in our Assembler team.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods.

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Preparing and assembling pre-fabricated roof trusses
• Using hand tools and power tools
• Picking orders
• Stacking lumber at saws
• Assisting with the movement of semi-finished and finished product
• KOTT Production employees may occasionally be assigned to other production areas on Moodie Drive based on workload, regardless of their primary department

What you need to succeed:

• Experience with power tools
• Experience working with your hands
• Framing experience is considered a strong asset
• Forklift experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong safety focus
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time is required for this position
• Self-motivated, hardworking, positive
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate well in English
