Wall Panel Assemblers

Location: 3228 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

We are looking for full-time Wall Panel Assemblers to fill existing vacancies in our Panels team.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for overtime during busy seasons. The wage range for this position is $20.00 to $23.50 per hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Measuring and cutting (and re-measuring) the raw materials
• Assembly and fastening of interior and exterior walls
• Quality inspection of finished wall panels
• Stacking, labeling and preparing finished product for delivery
• KOTT Production employees may occasionally be assigned to other production areas on Moodie Drive based on workload, regardless of their primary department.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is essential
• Wall panel manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset
• General carpentry experience is a strong asset
• Ability to adhere to production guidelines, and are comfortable in a production area
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience with power tools
• Capable of heavy lifting daily, and able to stand for long periods
• Quality and detail oriented
• Ability to communicate well in English
