Job Description:

As part of the administration team for our Installed Services department, your role is key to making sure the right materials and labour are sent to site at the right time. Based in the office, you work closely with the site-based Installation Supervisors to make sure KOTT is on top of the flow of work at multiple customer job sites.

Your main duties

  • » Prepare and file the production information package required for each house – plans and quantities, product specifications and colours chosen
  • » Generate system-based sales orders for each job, and ensure the system job status is kept up to date throughout all stages of work
  • » Coordinate delivery dates for all stages of work
  • » Order materials for customer extras and upgrades, as required
  • » Facilitate Sales and Production forecasting by ensuring customer project dates are kept current in our system
  • » Filing and other administrative duties as required to support the Installed Services team

Requirements:

Experience & Education

  • » At least 5 years’ project coordination and administration experience
  • » Experience working in the residential construction industry is a strong asset
  • » High school education or equivalent

Skills & Qualifications

  • » Strong general computer skills required, including sound knowledge of MS Excel
  • » Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is considered a strong asset
  • » Strong administrative and coordination skills

Wall & Floor Panel Designer

Location: Flexible

Job Description:

As a full-time member of the KOTT Inc. Design & Engineering team, your key responsibility is to design wall and floor panels for residential construction, based on customer-provided plans and Scopes of Work.

We’d prefer an experienced Designer (framing components – roof, walls or floors) for this position, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • » Design panels using Mitek software
  • » Identify and flag any design issues or discrepancies noticed during the design process
  • » Communicate with KOTT team members to complete designs and send them to production, in accordance with project timelines
  • » Communicate with customers, if required, for clarification on plans or details
  • » Track work assignments using KOTT’s Enterprise Resource Management software

Requirements:

Experience & Education

  • » Two years’ experience as a Panel Designer (or other framing components) is preferred
