Wage for this position starts at $17/hour – your pay will be based on your skills & experience

 

Your day-to-day

  • • Picking orders of landscaping stone (“interlock”) and materials that will be used to build landscaping features
  • • Ensuring orders are complete and accurate, and identifying any issues or discrepancies
  • • Making material packages delivery-ready: safely bundling, strapping and labeling them for the next stage of handling
  • • Loading orders onto KOTT delivery vehicles and customer vehicles

What you need to succeed:

Experience

  • • Forklift experience is required
  • • Experience working with your hands
  • • Knowledge of landscaping stone products is considered a strong asset

Skills & Qualifications

  • • Quality and detail oriented
  • • Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and able to stand for long periods
  • • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • • Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required – KOTT will provide other PPE

Wall Panel Assemblers

Location: 14 Anderson Blvd, Uxbridge, ON

Your day-to-day

  • • Measuring and cutting (and re-measuring) the raw materials
  • • Assembly and fastening of interior and exterior walls
  • • Quality inspection of finished wall panels
  • • Stacking, labeling and preparing finished product for delivery

What you need to succeed:

Experience

  • • Work experience in a production or manufacturing setting is essential
  • • Wall panel manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset
  • • General carpentry experience is a strong asset

Skills & Qualifications

  • • You can adhere to production guidelines, and are comfortable in a production area
  • • You work well as part of a team
  • • You can handle a variety of power tools
  • • You are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, and able to stand for long periods

AZ Driver – Short Haul (no overnights!)

KOTT Inc.’s goal is to get our customers what they need, when they need it. Our AZ Drivers play a huge role in delivering on our promise. We are looking for full-time AZ Drivers for local deliveries.

As part of the KOTT Delivery team, you will make several local delivery runs each day from KOTT to residential construction sites, and have the opportunity to be home every night.

You will operate our fleet of brand new and late model delivery vehicles, and will be supported by an advanced fleet management program.

Your day-to-day
• Oversee the safe loading and strapping of materials
• Drive a tractor trailer – safely and efficiently – to and from job sites
• Oversee the safe unloading of materials at customer sites
• Be responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle
• Report all maintenance issues

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience
    • You have a minimum of 2 years current driving experience
    • Experience operating a Moffett is considered an asset
    • Experience with oversize loads is considered an asset

Skills & Qualifications
• You are 25 years or older (requirement of our insurer)
• You must have an AZ Driver’s license with a clean abstract and CVOR
• You enjoy dealing with people, and have strong communications skills
• You delight in providing great customer service
