Stair Delivery

Location: 3228 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for overtime during busy seasons.

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• – This position includes both driving (G Class 5-ton truck) and being a passenger in support of the delivery process
• – Load pre-fabricated stairs into delivery vehicles at KOTT’s facility
• – Deliver and unload stairs in specified houses on residential job sites in the Ottawa area
• – Support shop operations during non-peak periods by performing such tasks as: maintaining cleanliness and safety of the worksite(s), picking/staging orders and materials, other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

• • – General moving experience
  • – Experience with residential construction sites is considered an asset
  • – Ability to operate 5-ton truck (Hydraulic brakes/ G-class only required)
  • – Clean Driving Records / Abstract required
  • – Experience with an ELD drivers log is a strong asset
  • – Ability to work well as part of a team
  • – Ability to handle a variety of power tools
  • – Capable of lifting over 100 lbs (45 kg) on a daily basis
  • – Ability to work in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions
  • – Working From Heights certification mandatory (current)
  • – Ability to communicate well in English
