Truss Assemblers (Ottawa)

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods.
The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- – Preparing and assembling pre-fabricated roof trusses
- – Using hand tools and power tools
- – Picking orders
- – Stacking lumber at saws
- – Assisting with the movement of semi-finished and finished product
What you need to succeed:
- – Experience with power tools
- – Experience working with your hands
- – Framing experience is considered a strong asset
- – Forklift experience is considered a strong asset
- – Strong safety focus
- – Ability to work well as part of a team
- – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time is required for this position
- – Self-motivated, hardworking, positive
- – Attention to detail
- – Ability to communicate well in English
